Amy Michaelis, Ed.S., BCBA

 President, founder, and Clinical Director Amy is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Certified Special Education Teacher. Amy has extensive experience creating individualized programming for students with disabilities. Most importantly, Amy has a passion for working with children with disabilities. 

  

A published academic and speaker, Amy has presented about ABA in public schools at the Florida Association of Behavior Analysis Conference (FABA). Amy is currently working on her doctoral degree in Curriculum & Instruction with a specialization in Administration and Leadership (estimated completion May 2022). Currently, she is studying effective instructional design procedures and academic curriculum based on Applied Behavior Analysis.

Additionally, Amy is an adjunct professor at the University of West Florida and teaches BACB approved coursework to future analysts.


Amy is a mom of three and loves to spend time in her pool and at Disney with her family.

Lindsay Strausbaugh, M.Ed., BCABA

Vice-President, Co-Founder, and Educational Director, Lindsay is currently a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst and Certified Special Education/Early Childhood teacher. Lindsay holds a master’s degree in Exceptional Student Education and has completed the six-course sequence in ABA at the Masters level.    

Previously, Lindsay has held a position as a Lead Behavior Consultant. Lindsay holds a bachelor's degree in business and she has successfully worked as a director of a preschool where she oversaw the day to day operations of the school. Currently, Lindsay is working in an ABA-based classroom and has been teaching in both a general education classroom and in a special education classroom setting in Volusia County.


Lindsay has a two year old daughter and loves to spend time boating and on the water with her family.

Qualifications of Other Instructional Personnel

Pursuant to 1002.421(1)(j), Florida statues requires all of our teachers and staff to hold a Bachelor's degree or have specialized training and expertise (Registered Behavior Technician) before working with our students. Specific information regarding teacher and staff's training and education can be provided at any time on request.
